Dr. Brown is one of the few board certified clinical neuropsychologists in Alberta. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences in the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary, and she is an Associate Member of the Hotchkiss Brain Institute. Prior to acquiring Diplomate status in Clinical Neuropsychology, she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Calgary.

Dr. Brown is a researcher, consultant, and as a clinical neuropsychologist, she operates her private practice. She has been the principal investigator of several research grants and she has more than 65 peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and Lenora Browninvited addresses. Dr. Brown has served, and continues to serve, as a reviewer for scientific journals. As a sole inventor, she holds a patent for an apparatus that is based on psychophysics to measure the integrity of the central nervous system function.

Dr. Brown’s current goal is to help people gain an understanding of how brain functioning, and consequently neurocognitive functioning, is highly related to physical health and to the proper management of chronic medical conditions.
